Product Details
Better known as “jardalu” or “khubani”, these are the most common natural apricots available in the market. Originating from Afghanistan, these apricots are softer and more fleshy than their Ladakhi counterparts. Unlike Turkish and Ladakhi apricots, these are not sulphured and are naturally sweet and smooth. Their velvety skin, sweet taste and health benefits, make them a popular selling dry fruit. These Afghan apricots are rich with vitamin A, vitamin C and iron. They supply many nutrients that are required for a healthy body.
Usage
1-2 pieces of dried apricots can be consumed on a daily basis. They are used in many desserts and salads after taking out their seeds. Apricots kernels and apricot oil also find many diverse uses in different pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries worldwide.
